Belle Epoque located in Grade II listed building dating to 1856 in Newington Green which is one of the best parts of all time popular Stoke Newington.
When Eric and Hulya took over the shop from former occupier in 2002 the whole building was in appalling condition. They restored features of the façade within a few months.
The shop is divided to three units. Shop front and counter where we display goods, sell and serve for take-away as well as sit-in customers. Shop counter and display shelves used reclaimed units.
Behind the front shop, the tea-room which is decorated with chau effect of Provencal France’s distinctive look.
Secluded private garden becomes thriving with local residents to enjoy the day with a treat of cakes, light lunches and drinks. Garden is open all year round but due to whether condition is best in summer.
